Essential and optional requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years Human Resources
  • Manager experience, preferably in the

    International brand hotel.

  • Pre-opening experience is a priority
  • A strong understanding of Vietnam labor and employment law.
  • Good English skills.
  • Ability to create a community which supports a collaborative environment.
  • Strong coach approach leadership style.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with all levels of talent.
  • Good team working skills and able to work effectively and contribute in a team
  • Good organization skills.
  • Multicultural awareness and able to work with people from diverse cultures .
  • Flexible and able to embrace and respond to change effectively .
  • Key tasks

  • In partnership with the General Managers and Heads of Departments, provide the Talent &Culture leadership and strategic direction including creating and implementing best practices that support Novotel strategy.
  • Implement Talent & Culture and Learning & Development budget, guidelines, policies, and procedures in compliance with corporate direction.
  • Encourage the development of staff to achieve their highest potential. Manage the brand integration and training strategy that brings efficiency to employee performance.
  • Manage the hotel activities of recruitment,
  • payroll, benefits, legal compliance and employee relations. Manage the performance evaluation review process.

  • Measure staff satisfaction through surveys, round tables, and one-on-ones with the team.
  • Be an inspiration to all hotel staff to achieve luxury levels of performance.
  • Be a driver of the teams culture that fosters a business performance ethos that is mutually rewarding across multiple sites.
