1. Summary :

The Manufacturing Manager :

  • must understand the company and customer technical needs to develop, define and implement short and long term technical services strategies.
  • manages and develops the technical services function, activities and processes.
  • must have experience in mechanical, electrical, and industrial engineering, AutoCAD...
  • is preferred to have experience in wood technology.
  • 2. Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Develop and set up strategic road-map for Company industrial engineers; lead the team to take actions in order to achieve the strategic initiatives.
  • Perform budgeting and planning for the Industrial Engineer; strive for further approval of budgeting, mid-term and long-
  • term planning; set up clear KPI targets and track the achievements of KPIs

  • Lead all functions to establish the operational excellence and build up required qualifications
  • Mentor, develop and motivate the direct reports, review and provide timely performance feedback.
  • Create individual development plans, coach them to get onto a higher level of competences
  • Create and follow up on succession planning as a long term preparation for the company development.
  • Cooperate with related departments to setup, maintain, and improve :
  • 1) safety standards,

    2) PCCC standards and readiness,

    3) standards / processes related to equipment, processing, handling and disposal of chemical substances,

    4) standards / processes related to dust collector and saw dust processing,

    5) standards / processes related to waste management, standards related to workplace ergonomics.

  • Work with related departments and external parties to prepare for regulatory- and / or (re)certification audits.
  • Carry out essentially related tasks assigned by supervisor
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, yearly report
  • Requirements

  • University degree or above in Engineering with fluent English
  • At least 5 years related working experience, including managerial experience
  • Expert in Strategic Entrepreneurial Thinking and Acting
  • Advanced understanding of product and production technology as well as business processes including production processes
  • Advanced knowledge of Lean Management and CIP programs
  • Very strong leadership, people management, influencing skills, problem solving as well as decision making skills
