The Senior Content Coordinator will lead the development, sourcing, gathering and presentation of written and multimedia content to target audiences of RMIT University Vietnam.
The role is responsible for generating and collecting content from a variety of internal and external sources to build the story that audiences will connect with.
The position oversees the strategic delivery of content across RMIT communication platforms to create impact and enhance engagement with customers, stakeholders and partners.
Plan and execute the content development and curation strategy to align with the university’s overarching content pillars;
Create and curate content aligned with key content pillars to focus groups which include parents, students, industry, alumni, media etc.;
Research, understand and respond to industry trends, audience segments and their behaviour and motivations;
Build and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders including, but not limited to academics, writers, publishers, key opinion leaders, influencers etc.
to curate and deliver relevant content;
Create or edit content and ensure the style and clarity is consistent with the RMIT brand;
Manage the distribution of content through the university’s established online channels and traditional platforms;
Work with the marketing, communications and the web team to ensure that measurable outcomes are achieved by capturing reach, engagement and where possible direct or indirect lead generation;
Work with RMIT Melbourne to ensure content strategy is aligned with overarching global content pillars;
KEY SELECTION CRITERIA
A degree in a discipline relevant to this position such as marketing, communications, public relations, journalism.
At least five years of relevant experience in a similar role and strong experience in writing, editing and developing content for multi-channel distribution.
Knowledge and understanding of the education market and challenges within this industry is desirable.
Experience working with multiple web content formats; textual, video, infographics etc.
Proven planning, organisational, analytical and problem solving skills
Proven interpersonal, negotiation and cross cultural communication skills
Knowledge and commitment to continuous improvement
Proven ability to effectively manage client and stakeholder relationships
A portfolio of your writing samples is required to support your application

ENGLISH PROFICIENCY REQUIREMENTS
If English is not your native language then you will be required to demonstrate a minimum English language proficiency standard at a BULATS Advanced level (BULATS score 75), equivalent to IELTS (General) 6.
5. RMIT Vietnam will require you to complete a BULATS test to assess your level of English before an offer of employment can be made.
