Job Background / Context :
The Global Subsidiaries Group (GSG) within Global Corporate and Investment Banking serve a select number of the world’s leading corporations and financial institutions.
Our bankers are Relationship Managers who build and grow our long-term relationship with these clients. They orchestrate the delivery of Citi's vast global product platform and develop integrated financing strategies, by acting as a primary point of contact with the clients, and by working closely with Citi’s Investment Banking, Global Capital Markets, and Global Transaction Services divisions.
The team manages client relationships across various industries, and is dedicated to designing and delivering innovative solutions to meet clients’ strategic and financial priorities.
Job Purpose :
The Relationship Associate (RA) handles the day-to-day administration and co-ordination of a portfolio of clients, actively participating in identifying and supporting the delivery of banking solutions.
Key Responsibilities :
Support Bankers on marketing efforts to grow and protect revenue on a specified portfolio of clients.
Demonstrate the ability to exercise sound judgment and use initiative, but knows when to refer, ensuring Bankers are able to focus on marketing efforts and revenue generation
Build a trusted relationship with clients, acting as contact for routine credit requests, navigation of the Citi product and coverage network, problem escalation and resolution, driving customer satisfaction
Global network liaison; co-ordinate opportunity requests to network
Leverage the network and product partners to pursue identified opportunities e.g. TTS, Market, SFS
Co-ordination of credit requests, approvals, CRI memo as appropriate (Product, PAM teams, Bankers, CRMS, GIRM), prepare credit documentation.
Manage daily overdrafts in accordance with the credit control process; work with client on the funding arrangement for any excesses over approved limits or to flag for internal credit approvals.
Demonstrate sound knowledge of ICG credit policies and exercise prudent judgment in managing risks inherent in the business
Responsible for ensuring assigned client portfolio is kept current with respect to due diligence and anti-money laundering compliance (CADD) requirements

Knowledge / Experience / Qualifications :
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced person to support Bankers and drive revenue realization.
An in-depth knowledge of / experience base in all aspects of transactional banking is essential, with a sound knowledge of Citi’s full product range
Sound knowledge of ICG credit policy
Efficient knowledge of technical support systems (CRI, Citivision, CRM, GRR, eCADD etc)
Basic credit knowledge
BA / Master degree in Finance / Banking, Business, Law or related areas
Korean speaking capability and experience in dealing with Korean client is a plus
