About the Opportunity
We are greater than the sum of our parts That is why we are looking for an energetic retail sales professional to unite the in-
destination sales teams. The Regional IDSM is responsible for driving growth of the destination teams by ensuring consistency in the sales process, assisting with product development, setting benchmarks and targets for sales performance, and establishing motivational reward and recognition systems for our sales teams.
You will work with Country Managers and local IDSMs to identify new partnership opportunities and sales channels (both online and offline) to achieve to grow our IDS sales revenue.
You will use your extensive leadership experience to provide vision, inspiration and strategy to our in-country teams.
As the Regional IDSM, your responsibilities also include :
Ensure monthly sales targets across the region for IDS is being met.
Work with IDSMs in other countries to ensure the Customer Sales Experience (CSE) is being followed through proper training and coaching of IDS hosts.
Work with Product Development Managers to close any product gaps and establish a pricing policy that drives sales and margin.
Ensure consistency in welcome packs and collateral in every destination.
Create tactical campaigns and offers to continually stimulate sales.
Drive consistency in reward and recognition systems across all countries eg. Commission systems
Establish regular communication systems for all IDSMs to ensure One Best Way is being followed.
Ensure that we continually identify opportunities for new tour desks and destinations.
Work with our Regional Distribution Manager to drive sales through online channels to complement our IDS teams and reduce missed opportunities.
Ensure alignment between online and offline sales channels.
The Essentials :
Minimum Bachelor degree. Degree in tourism and hospitality is an advantage
Minimum 3 year experience leading a direct sales team
Proven track record in Track record of strong sales and business development
Fluent in written and spoken English and national local language an advantage
Strong Team Management skills across different cultures and geographies.
Demonstrated leadership and ability to foster teamwork
Effective and polished negotiation skills
Strong commercial and business acumen
