As part of the Vietnam Leadership Team, the Commercial Director is in charge of delivering consistently the performance in line with the sales strategy and beat competition through great collaboration with customers and through strong leadership of the sales organization.

What you will need to accomplish in the role :

Reporting to the General Manager of Vietnam, you would be in charge of the total commercial business performance of the Vietnam market and execute the sales strategy through the Sales Leadership Team :

  • Deliver the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), for both the local and imported brands in Vietnam
  • Execute the commercial strategy across the key channels, development and implementation of the Trade Strategy in alignment with the overall Business directions in Vietnam
  • Ensure highest execution standards, beating the competition and gaining value share
  • Build and develop talent, role model Diageo’s leadership and compliance and ethics standards
  • Build Diageo’s reputation with partners and in the market place locally
  • What you need to bring to the table :

  • You must have a strong and broad track record in Sales at a leadership level in a highly competitive environment
  • You have deep knowledge of end to end sales practice in different routes to markets and / or business set ups
  • You have past work experience in field sales management, key account management, sales operations or customer marketing
  • You must be able to translate strategy to action, a proven track record of performance and delivery
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal in English
  • Native Vietnamese language speaker
