Essential and optional requirements
Certificate or Degree in Business Administration school or Hotel Management school.
Previous experience in the role of Catering / MICE sales manager.
Understanding hospitality market including MICE segmentation.
Excellence in presentation, prospecting, negotiation and interpersonal skill.
Communication skills : Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
Languages : fluent in English language (both spoken and written).
Perform her / him duties within the framework defined by the hotel norms and by internal regulations as supervised by the Director of Sales (DOS)
Pay a visits to potential accounts in view of entering into contracts with them, especially commercial accounts.
Assist DOS to review rate guidelines & promotions.
Lead the reactive team and assist to resolve any questions or issues.
Put in place actions to meet Catering & MICE budgets.
Liaise with vendors & partners to organize a wedding fair Push Social events.
Closely observe matters pertaining to competition (sites, prices, services offered on a regular basis - quarterly or more often if need to be).
