The is primarily responsible for processing HelpDesk tickets from Absolute staff globally, as well as deployments and project related tasks.

This position is located in Vietnam and will report to the designated Systems Administrator.

Global IT work is strongly procedural, and requires accurate documentation of tickets in Absolute’s HelpDesk ticket tracking system.

Accountabilities Will Include :

  • Managing a personal queue or backlog of open HelpDesk tickets, ensuring SLAs are met, and customers are updated with appropriate timeliness according to best practices
  • Install / Upgrade / Replace workstations and peripherals
  • Administer software deployment technologies such as imaging or distribution tools
  • Assist with the deployment of new end user devices like laptops and smartphones
  • Assist in the monitoring of systems to ensure uptime and performance
  • Provide exceptional customer service to employees requiring IT support
  • Work on project related tasks as assigned
  • Assist with IT documentation like installation processes
  • Assist with keeping IT hardware and software inventories organized and up to date
  • Assist with the ordering and receiving or Hardware and Software
  • Assist with the responsible recycling of electronic equipment
  • Follow company policies and procedures closely to ensure compliance with our ISO 27001 certification
  • What You'll Need

  • 2 or more years’ experience working in an IT support role
  • Solid understanding of TCP / IP and Windows Operating Systems
  • Experience with imaging and deployment solutions
  • Strong Windows deployment, administration and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong MS Office skills in particular Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Experience working in a helpdesk environment using a ticketing system
  • Formal IT training with certifications like MCSE or A+ required
  • Great verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and excellent customer service skills
  • Works well in team or alone
  • Hard working with a positive can do attitude and no job is too small
  • Linux and Mac OSX deployment, administration and troubleshooting skills in as asset
  • Mobile Device Management experience (mainly Apple and Android devices) is an asset
