This position is responsible to manage credit risk portfolio of businesses in the designated locations by : 1.Ensuring compliance to Credit Policies and locations’ credit annex in the day-
to-day activities2.Credit assessment and decision making3.Business partnering with the locations in resolving credit issues (overdue, bad-
debt, assets recovery, bank guarantee follow up, customer support, credit limit gap analysis) within its portfolio4.Reporting and monitoring the performance of its portfolio against the agreed targets, social economic development in the location as well as issues within agriculture marketThe credit analyst will work closely with the credit manager in performing its roles and responsibilities as well as the various stakeholders of the business unit he / she is tag to within the appropriate risk appetite.
50% Credit Policy Compliance and Account Management With limited oversight actively manages a customer portfolio with a high risk tolerance
Perform independent credit assessments on credit requests
Approve credit exposure request within the delegated approval authority
Ensure proper documentation in place as required by the policy and or credit approval
Review collateral (BGL, LUR, stock) and work closely with banks for BGL for customers (if any)
Provided guidance to Commercial team for guarantee or collateral procedures
Work closely with Regional Sales Managers / Sales Managers for credit renewal / withdrawal / review effectiveness of credit support to customers
Ensure accurate and prompt update of customer credit information in the system and master file as per the credit approval 20% Credit Collection
Work with the AR team and commercial team to ensure good collection practice as required in local credit annex
Actively work with the commercial team in debt repayment plan of overdue / bad debt customers
Provide input in the level of bad-debt reserves to the locations controller based on his / her understanding of the customer
Improve and or establish collection process and or strategy to achieve credit targets 20% Business Partnering
Provide risk mitigation solutions and facilitate various risk discussions with business teams and leaders while keeping in mind the growth / expansion of business.
With limited oversight, communicates issues appropriately with relevant internal and external partners.
Collaborates with senior management and the business team’s liaison to identify root causes of disputes and propose solutions.
Partner with trading in providing explanations to trading activities impacting the business P&L.
Create a culture of cooperation and maintain a sound communication between the commercial teams. 10% Data Management
Monitor data quality and recommend improvement to system and databases cross enterprises
Independent monitor data integrity on complex financial risk related elements-Limit approval and source system limit-Completeness and correctness of data in system-
Risk mitigation documentation-Matching to DUNS number
Minimum Required Qualifications
University graduate. Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Banking
Minimum 5 years of finance and / or banking experience.
Strong financial analysis experience with technical knowledge Counterparty risks
Demonstrated change agility.
Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
Demonstrated ability to understand and use technology to improve process and control.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Business level of English Proficiency, both written and verbal. Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Corporate Banking will be a plus
Proficient knowledge in current business financial processes and systems.
Demonstrated ability to create a team culture of continuous improvement, process optimization and intellectual curiosity.
Understanding and experience working with JDE, SAP, and Lynx.
