Get to know the role :

  • To lead the city sales team to identify, build relationships / partnerships with F&B merchants and meet agreed policies / procedures, SLA and targets
  • The day-to-day activities :

    Develop strategy to enter new markets and maximize resources as well as business opportunities to achieve targets

    Build, manage and develop the Merchant Acquisition team by leading, coaching, supporting & motivating through technical & commercial knowledge, communication transparency, winning spirit, fighting resilience and performance acknowledgement

    Coach and provide necessary training and development for all subordinates to increase their capabilities, productivity, creativity and motivation that will support both current functional goals and long term business growth

    Plan and develop acquisition and expansion activities in line with company strategy and policy in order to expand the market coverage, build the company image and achieve the targets

    Keep abreast of the market and industry situation and competitor activity in order to revise and develop strategies to meet market changes and merchants’ requirements

    Lead contract negotiations to establish a strong working partnership grounded on sustainable economics for both parties

    Responsible for the meeting the targets for new restaurants acquired

    The must haves :

    Bachelor’s Degree or higher in any field (preferably in business, management or marketing field)

    Minimum 5 years of experience in sales / leads generation / business development role is preferred

    F&B industry background is an advantage

    Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English

    Microsoft Office skills are required (MS. Excel, MS. Word and MS. Powerpoint)

    A highly independent and individual with excellent team-working skills

    Ability to build good relationships with merchants and match merchant needs and organization resources to grow GrabFood business

    Ability to fuse business and strategy concepts to lead complex, multi-faceted deals

    Energetic, enthusiastic and calm even in a dynamic and fast paced environment

    Excellent time management and communication skills with excellent leadership skills
