The Role

This position will lead a team of Property Managers in managing the overall operational and financial aspects to optimise the performance of the assigned portfolio of properties.

Job Responsibilities

  • Periodic monitoring and reviewing of policies and systems to ensure relevancy, and initiate changes where necessary to improve the property management processes and procedures.
  • Ensure the provision of building services meet the required standards and expenses kept within budget.
  • Develop and establish good communication and relationship with tenants and suppliers.
  • Strategic planning and budgeting for operations and maintenance on an annual basis; and for cyclical repairs and improvement projects.
  • Enforce and monitor various work programs to maintain smooth and efficient operations and ensure that SOPs are adhered to.
  • Manage ad-hoc projects such as improvement and upgrading works to building infrastructure and systems; and provide input on the requirements to ensure maintainability and operational needs are met.
  • Provide guidance and expertise to the team on the ground in resolving issues, provide solutions for challenges faced, and ensure overall compliance with regulatory requirements such as the Safety and Health Act, etc.
  • Provide oversight on the plan and implement system audits, look into continuous process improvements and ensure timely management reporting.
  • Job Requirements

  • Degree in Building / Real Estate / Facilities Management or a related Engineering discipline.
  • At least 15 years of relevant experiences and knowledge of all phases of property management, as well as overseeing procurement of property management services.
  • Display good leadership skills.
  • Certified as a Fire Safety Manager and / or Green Mark Facility Manager.
  • Possess sound knowledge of building M&E systems, with experiences in monitoring Building Management Systems (BMS) and Building Automation Systems (BAS).
  • Proficient in MS Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint and Excel) and SAP.
  • Excellent team player with strong communication skills and good computer literacy.
  • Ability to be ready 24 / 7 and to manage operations and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
