Portfolio Oversight

  • Work with GAM and FAM teams to improve the management of limits and exposures across geographies; conduct comparative analysis of risk vs.
  • return using portfolio data and provide recommendations for optimizing portfolios and use of capital;
  • Conduct periodic portfolio reviews of assigned segment / industry to assess creditworthiness and initiate ad hoc reviews for clients that are subjected to adverse news or vulnerable to specific economic, market or regulatory events;
  • Coordinate and conduct Stress Tests and portfolio review exercises for periodic check on the health of the portfolio;
  • Preparation of other analysis, such as Industry specific reviews, portfolio reviews, etc.
  • Ensure zero BCA / credit review over dues and work to minimize extensions;
  • Handle and monitor all other risk-related matters.
  • Processes

  • Oversee the quality and turnaround of BCA preparation.
  • Coordinate regional / global efforts to ensure compliance with BCA / GM renewal policies, CaRT and other credit administration processes;
  • Manage the credit change process globally across teams when credit policy changes are enacted, analyze gaps and propose solutions that optimize execution;
  • People and Talent

  • Oversee CA team across geographies and ensure workload balance per CA
  • Responsible for the career development and trainings of CAs
  • Embed the Group’s values and culture. Develop people culture which encourages, and champions change among employees in the daily workplace
  • Continually strive to share key relevant knowledge and learning’s (lessons learnt from recent transactions / credit events)
  • Publish metrics to demonstrate quality and timeliness on credit work
  • Risk Management

  • Abide by appropriate frameworks to guarantee that business is carried out within the Group’s risk appetite and relevant risks are appropriately managed in conjunction with line managers other stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with the highest standards of regulatory conduct and compliance standards and practices as defined by internal and external requirements.
  • This includes compliance with regulations and guidelines on Sanctions, Anti-Money Laundering (AML), and Environmental and Social Risk Management (ESRM).

  • Abide by the Group’s values and code of conduct and foster a robust culture to ensure that adherence with the highest standards of ethics, and compliance with relevant policies, processes and regulations among employees.
  • Ensure that Risk Management matters that are brought to the job holder’s attention are subject to direct remedial action and / or ensure adequate reporting to the relevant superiors and / or Risk Committees.

  • Ensure relevant systems and controls pertaining to the role remit are in compliance with Group and Business policies, procedures, standards and codes, including those governing all Risk types, Compliance, Operational Risk, Technology and Operations, Finance and Reputation

  • Our Ideal Candidate

  • Minimum of bachelor or master’s degree in finance or Banking
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in accounting and financial principles
  • Direct experience in assessing the credit risk of large segment dependent
  • Team management and motivation
  • Strong financial analysis skills and ability to assess client creditworthiness and key risk considerations / mitigations
  • Sound product knowledge on transaction banking, hedging, ecosystem, cash management, FX and strong understanding of local industries, supply / value chains and market environment
  • Knowledge of operational procedures, documentation requirements, banking practices and regulations related to Commercial, Corporate & Institutional Banking
  • Credit skills to guide in approval and portfolio management processes, implementation knowledge, relationship management and sales skills
  • Firm in all business guidelines and compliance issues
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills
