Purpose :

The Account Manager is tasked with management and growth of a portfolio of existing clients as well as new business growth.

This role is responsible for unlocking our clients’ business opportunities, delivering outstanding client service as well as contribution for new business opportunities.

Key Accountabilities :

  • Understand POPS business model and structure and work closely with all stakeholders across BUs to collectively deliver POPS business goals
  • Work closely with all BUs at POPS to understand the content pipeline and mapping it to revenue opportunities
  • Offer capabilities and expertise (strategy, services & data / insights) to deliver branded content solutions to our clients and new business
  • Build strong relationships and be viewed as a trusted advisor both internally at POPS as well as to external partners like brands and agencies
  • Deepen relationship to ensure retention and growth with existing clients while also find new avenues to grow revenue for POPS
  • Manage the team to ensure building strong relationships with their counterparts to deliver outstanding results. Actively supports and is responsible for growth and career development of account teams
  • Review business goals and personal KPIs quarterly

    Desired skills & experience

  • 5 year- experience in the digital media, advertising, brand space. Experience in digital content is an added advantage
  • Ability to think strategically and identify and resolve problems in digital branded content and media space
  • Ability to understand the value of Branded content vis-a-vis brand advertising
  • Strong technical understanding of digital performance marketing i.e. Paid, Owned and Earned products and services such as Content Marketing, Search Engine Marketing (SEM), Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Social Media Management (organic & community focus) and Display Marketing
  • Entrepreneurial, tech-savvy, creative-driven who is ready to roll up their sleeves for continuous learning
  • Strong managerial experience, including experience developing and mentoring a team
  • Strong selling, negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good interpersonal skills to be able to work with multiple teams and stake holders in productive and constructive manner
