Reporting to the Product Marketing Manager, this position you take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the product’s journey.
From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the voice of the product and help it grow a consumer base.
You’ll encourage and educate clients with market insights, support FPT’s content strategy, and communicate effectively through scalable marketing initiatives.
This means you will work with a crossfunctional team across Sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more.
In this role, you’ll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end.
Summary Key Focus Areas :
Market Position develop product positioning and messaging that is clear, defensible and differentiates the product in the market
Market Intelligence be the expert on the buyers, how they buy and their buying criteria; be the expert on the competition and how to beat them
Product Launch plan the launch of new products and releases and manage the crossfunctional implementation of the plan
Demand Generation develop the buyer’s journey, define the offer, and determine the GTM strategy
Sales Enablement communicate the value proposition of the products to the sales team and develop the sales tools that support the selling process
Drive business analysis and analytical activities to develop B2B marketing strategy.
Lead strategic projects and initiatives to drive business growth, increase usage, engagement and product adoption and work with Sales teams to achieve targets.
Establish the go-to-market vision, strategy and model for a portion of our product portfolio and communicate that vision and strategy across the organization
Develop deep understanding of the buying audience for the organization by conducting research and gathering insight on target personas, buyer needs and the purchasing decision process
perform competitive analysis
Partner with product management to build business cases for expanding market presence. Partner with Sales and Sales Enablement to help progress pipeline opportunities and enable successful client-facing conversations
Oversee and provide direction for the creation and socialization of the following productlevel documents : market requirements, marketing plan, sales enablement plan, launch plan, and solution handbook
Oversee and provide input on the process for creating product positioning, value propositions and messaging that resonates with the buying audience
Provide source messaging documents to be used for campaigns, demand generation and content
Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field
2-3 years of product marketing experience preferred
Fluent in English with strong English writing, editorial and scripting skills
Familiar with marketing sophisticated, SaaS-based B2B applications is a plus
Ability to partner with cross-functional teams. Experience working with Sales, Product Management, and Marketing (Demand Generation, Events, etc.)
Plan, execute, and lead successful product launches
Strategic thinker, creative problem solver and strong analytical skills
Influencing and communicating product offers to customers, prospects, sales, industry analysts and trade press
