Business Development Manager will be responsible for managing, co-coordinating and developing agency forces to contribute to the implementation of sales strategies, policies to achieve company goals.

Job Responsibilities :

Planning

  • Use MAPA to analyze Sales performance and develop appropriate sales initiatives for in-charged GA(s)
  • Align business strategies with the strategic vision of the Company and GA(s)
  • Execution

  • Empower the teams to achieve pre-committed business targets and various KPIs for designated GA(s)
  • Interpret and execute compliance duties with regulatory and our company’s Code of Conduct, Complaints Handling Procedures, Customer Privacy Policy and all other Guidelines
  • Represent the company or GA(s) to communicate with stakeholders and give presentation in front of stakeholders for such purposes as announcing, briefing, etc.
  • Supervision & Management

  • Develop Business Management process with close monitoring of sales activities and trend by partners and sales unit in yearly / quarterly plan
  • Provide support on operations and application processing, and handle enquiries from designated GA(s) key stakeholders
  • Training & Development

  • Direct and monitor recruiting and training plan for staff to ensure development of staff
  • Understand and be able to recruit new staff with appropriate required competencies
  • Understand and be able to deliver sessions, trainings about BoP, GP,
  • Conduct 1-1 meetings with stakeholders (Team leaders, GAD, ) to ensure objectives are met
  • Internal & external relationships

  • Build up and maintain solid business relationship with GA(s) key stakeholders including GAD, insurance team, related front-line and back-line managers and staff, etc.
  • Be able to motivate, inspire stakeholders with a wide range of methods such as Compensation Schemes, internal activities, etc.

    To be assigned by the Line manager or Company’s management (if any)

    Key Accountabilities :

  • Plan and manage execution to achieve the sales target of in-charged GA(s)
  • Be an example of Business Development Manager of Prudential in front of GAs and key stakeholders
  • Be role model for Business Development staffs and AD expert
  • KPIs

  • Achieve 100% sales target for in-charged GA(s)
  • Ensure 100% company compliance duties and guidelines
  • Key Success Factors :

  • Degree / diplomas : University or college degrees, preferably in Economics, Business Administration, Marketing, Insurance
  • At least 2-year experienced in a similar position or 4-year experience working as sales supervisor or lower
  • Result-oriented
  • Competent in analytical and problem solving skill
  • Having wide range of influence
  • Competent in planning, organizing skills
  • Skillful at motivating, inspiring and interested in supporting other people
  • Excellent in applying Sales Management & Marketing Principles
  • Excellent in presentation skill
  • Customer-centric
  • Good at questioning skill to conduct 1-1 meeting for reporting, coaching, monitoring purposes is a plus
  • Advantage

  • Fluent English is an advantage
  • Familiar with Excel, Power Point, Word and PC literate
