About this opportunity
This individual will have demonstrated sales leadership and a proven sales record, managing a high performance team for Align Technology to sell the Invisalign and iTero product in both public and private sectors with strong analytical, business planning skills and a hunter mindset.
s / he also owns the sales enablement function to maximize the sales team’s effectiveness and potentials.
In this role, you will
ESSENTIAL TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Establish and drive the strategic direction for Vietnam nationwide focussing on market insights / segmentation work to more effectively deploy resources to achieve the business goals
Ensure that all assigned sales resources are properly coordinated, integrated, and controlled; and that effective interrelationships are maintained with all group functions as appropriate
Put in place processes in sales planning, forecasting, business planning to achieve long term objectives of business
Within the context of the Align business strategy, develop and direct the implementation of commercial strategy in region with a key focus on growth and market leadership.
Represent the business in various internal meetings and conferences to ensure that the objectives and strategies of region are supported throughout the larger organization
Provide for continuing organization effectiveness through the selection, training, development, and leadership of a competent staff and workforce.
To develop a high calibre team in Vietnam and to exercise a passion to train and mentor current team members
To lead and inspire the team to take on challenging target and to put in plans to get where the Vietnam Sales team needs to be.
Embrace and champion compliance across the organization
Support Commercial Director to implement business strategies in line with SEA regions
Provide support to audit processes and quality management system as required
In this role, you’ll need
Good spoken and written English and Vietnamese

EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE
At least 15 years working experience in sales or business development, and at least 10 years working experience in senior leadership capacity at national level
Sales management and / or marketing experience in dental and medical device industries is an advantage but not a must.
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with effective communication skills to work with cross function teams to achieve company goals.
Good competency in time and project management to meet tight deadlines

Excellent presentation skills and leadership
Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Vietnamese.
