Measures of success
In three months, you would have :
Be conversant with Agencies / Finance Structure.
Oversee day-to-day billing to client of Agencies / GroupM.
Good understanding of all necessary control, compliances in client policy and contract
Provide finance support to Media team
In six months, you would have :
Full responsibilities for clients handled in billing.
In 12 months, you would have :
Responsible for media billing and support Media agency in delivering service and fully reports for clients handle
Responsibilities of the roles
Handle full scope relate to billing of Agency’s clients allocated by Finance Manager ensure that invoice issued on time.
Prepare Media accrual of revenue monthly based on Media activities.
Support Media Agency in preparing documents relate to media services.
Negotiating with client to solve issues relate to invoice, billing.
Support media audit and finance audit as well.
Remind media team to submit documents for invoicing on time to clean up unbilled media balance.
Prepare JV for Media Accrual, fee, bonus to ensure that revenue recognition completeness.
Adhoc client contract
Ensure contract is compliance with WPP policy
Ensure media services delivered complied with contract.
Manage and review & comment billing reconcile / AR reconcile
Monthly month-end reports (Digital breakdown by sub media type, comment Accrued aging report,)
Report assigned by Commercial Manger.
Ad hoc tasks allocated by Finance Manager
What you will need :
Bachelor of Finance and Accounting is preferred.
2 years experience of billing accounting for an international service companies is much advantageous.
Proactive, self-starter with strong commercial acumen.
Ability to deliver results in a highly motivated, demanding environment.
Sharp, action orientated and able to sell ideas convincingly.
Experience in Media / Advertising industry will be an added advantage.
