What you will do?
As an Art Primary Teacher, you will be joining a supportive, welcoming and successful team, with excellent outcomes. The key duties of this role will include :
Teaching the Art Primary Cambridge International curriculum
Teaching students to express themselves through the arts
Providing an exciting classroom experience to students during art lessons
Maintaining art records, artworks, and art portfolios of students to demonstrate students’ progress and attainment
Ensuring that teaching and learning is of a consistently high quality
Actively contribute to a cohesive, hardworking, and happy team, with a strong collegiate culture
Promote and develop to students’ academic, personal, and social development beyond the classroom
Support the academic team to organised storage areas and control use of materials, equipment and tools required for distribution and collection to support the curriculum intentions
Work with the academic team and campus leadership to plan and present art displays and exhibitions designed to exhibit students’ work for the school and the community
Your background and experience
This is a certified primary teaching position that requires you to have a recognised teaching qualification in primary education, in particular outstanding experience of teaching Art and design.
Furthermore, we are looking for a teacher with the following traits and behaviours :
Strong curiosity in learning about other cultures and working with diverse people
Genuine interest in the field of Primary teaching
Open mindset and ability to develop efficient student and parent’s relationships
