Accountable

  • In charge of documentation & operation tasks.
  • Run compliance check against corporate and legal guidelines
  • Run compliance check against destination country ocean freight SOP
  • Ensure valid quotation for Shipper is in place
  • Continuously obtain adequate shipping volume forecast information from Stakeholders and maintain this
  • information at all time as applicable

  • Receive volume forecast information from Destination Office / Stakeholders and overlay with Shipper's volume
  • forecast - as applicable

  • Continuously provide Shipper's volume forecast information to Export Operations Team and Destination Office
  • Handle continuous pre-shipment status follow-up with Shipper and inform Destination office - as applicable
  • Receive booking request from Shipper / Destination Office
  • Qualify booking request details against customer service agreement and current market conditions
  • Request and receive pickup instructions from Shipper and relay to Operations Team
  • Request update from MDM Team (Master Data Management) about new shipper / new supplier as applicable
  • Capture Shipper's booking request in TMS (TANGO) for file creation - as applicable
  • Initiate credit check for Shipper and follow up on credit issues with Finance Team
  • Evaluate requested routing, equipment availability and enter preferred carrier routing into TMS (TANGO)
  • Facilitate communication between Customer and Export Customs Team - as applicable
  • Receive and / or upload relevant Customer documents to digital archive (ODM) - as applicable
  • Notify concerned team (Doc / OP / OA / ) of any changes required to document
  • Evaluate and ensure shipment profitability
  • Generate operational reporting for Customer - as applicable
  • Follow up milestone update
  • Maintain close contact with origin team / internal & external customers
  • Keep close contact with customer’s vendor to understand and proceed necessary action to keep balance the
  • relationship between 3 parties
  • Proactively gain market news from BAM / Trade team to update to stakeholders to develop their trust on
  • Schenker service
  • Voice out & sharing experience via periodical Team Huddle to enrich teammate knowledge
  • Check KPI report & key reason code as per customer’s requirement
  • Ensure compliance with Customer specific KPI's - as applicable
  • Verify and coordinate with OP / OA regarding income / cost reserves in TMS (TANGO)
  • Quick escalation and keep manager to be advised for all issue with customer or their vendor
