Position Purpose :

  • Manage and develop retail sales plan, ensure store targets are achieved, maximize retail sales to grow ranking and productivity of each counter.
  • Manage day to day smooth running of retail business including BA management, BA training, operation issues and stock replenishment.
  • RETAIL MANAGEMENT :

  • Recruit and manage sales staff (Beauty Advisors-BA) to achieve sales target.
  • Propose competitive incentive program, recognition program to motivate sales and improve sales performance.
  • Motivate and ensure retail sales team’s performance.
  • Report and analyze the effectiveness of all incentives programs on monthly basis.
  • Supervise and execute marketing program and promotional activities formulated by Marketing team.
  • Ensure retail excellence in accordance to brand guidelines through store fit out, customer service, visual merchandise and other operations.
  • Daily follow up with sales staff to ensure target achievement by day and month to date.
  • Verify and confirm the monthly BA commission / incentive.
  • Monitor weekly staff duty roster and job performance.
  • Attend weekly and monthly BA meeting, follow up target and propose action plan.
  • Conduct regular counter visits and ensure the development of BAs through regular coaching and appraisals.
  • Implement and follow up Customer Relationship Management (CRM) program.
  • Update and provide Customer Data to Marketing and Brand team.
  • Pro-active in providing activities or action plan to attract customers to counters for sales achievement.
  • Manage the relationship with department stores operations personnel to facilitate smooth implementation of required work processes.
  • Propose counters expansion opportunities.
  • Complete the weekly / monthly report on sales by counter, by BA, by KPIs (APT, UPT) / key launches or animated products.
  • Do survey on competitors’ marketing activities to improve ours.
  • OPERATIONAL MANAGEMENT :

  • Manage stock allocation : process bi-weekly order of selling products & POSM for all counters.
  • Manage stock transfer among counters (if any).
  • Ensure stock level at all counters as per guideline to support for sales achievement.
  • Track and control tester & GWP using at each counter. Provide monthly report of using.
  • Be responsible for stocks management at counters to deliver correct stock balances at month / year end as per inventory report from Accounting.
  • Manage the monthly inventory report with batch codes from all counters.
  • Verify and confirm all payment requests related to counter spending and ensure the counter expenses within the budget.
  • Verify and confirm the monthly attendance record and commission calculation for all Bas.
  • Manage yearly uniform outfit changing.
  • Participate in new door openings.
  • Manage stocks & staff in private sale event with the support from Marketing.
  • Review and improve all related retail procedures / process.
  • TRAINING MANAGEMENT

  • Manage the training team to ensure all new hires to be trained on products and selling method; and all teams to be trained on new product launches.
  • Make sure that all BAs & CMs keep good images for the Brand and comply with the company regulations / policy and guidelines.
  • Maintain BAs’ knowledge and BA grooming.
  • Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree
  • 5 years of working experience in the relevant position
  • Prior experience in retail operation in cosmetics / fragrance would be a plus
  • Good management skill; Self-starter and independent
  • Strong team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Resourceful with a positive can-do attitude
