ABB Vietnam is seeking HSE Manager (Health, safety & environment) who would be responsible for organizational health and safety adhering to ABB compliance.
Based in Bac Ninh and reporting to Factory Manager, your key areas of responsibility will include, but are not limited to :
Manage procedure and guidelines by,
Identifying, analysing and developing controls to eliminate or minimize the organizational hazards.
Developing, maintaining and implementing HSE policies and procedures.
Consulting with ABB risk management team, third party assessors and OHS advisers to check and define ABB requirements.
Measuring, auditing and evaluating the effectiveness of HSE processes and procedures across sites.
Facilitating the close out in case of non-conformance from audits and investigations.
Establishing, recording and tracking safety performance measures.
Creating statistical reporting system and hazard alerts and flashes reporting.
Ensuring maintenance of records and documents.
Build a safety culture by,
Sharing best practices and ensuring continuous improvement.
Ensuring regular and effective communication to employees and customers related to HSE program.
Providing advice, support, training and reporting to management and workforce achieve organizational health safety (OHS).
Organizing OHS training program and assisting in identifying safety improvement initiatives.
Support business by ensuring the safety programs are implemented on each site.
Interact visit all the sites and clients to ensure the HSE policies and procedures are implemented and maintain awareness.
Endure adherence to ABB compliance, policies and procedures.
Monitor cost associated with HSE non compliance & incidents and develop initiatives to reduce the cost.
In collaboration with HR organize the work responsibility and guide, develop and motivate direct and indirect subordinates.
To be considered for this role you should have,
A degree in environment or occupational health & safety.
Minimum 8 years of experience in OHS management and at least 3 years of experience in people management.
Specialised knowledge in Environment Management System.
International Certificate of HSE Management.
Strong command over written, verbal English communication.
Ability to deal and influence people within organizations related to OHS program.
Good planning, organizing, decision making, problem solving and leadership skills.
