This position assists customer’s staff with technical support ofservers / desktop computers, applications, and related technology.
Supportincludes specification, installation, and testing of computer systems andperipherals within established standards and guidelines.
Activities requireinteraction with application software and operating systems to diagnose andresolve unique, non-recurring problems.
Accurately testing, identifying, repairing, resolving, and documenting enduser technical issues regarding server / desktop support, printers, smartphone,and LAN cable drops
To provide infrastructure administration functions
Troubleshooting and resolving software issues; reimaging computers / hard drivesbacking up and restoring settings andassociated systems administration activities
Categorize and prioritize end user support requests and service requests byutilizing a customer ticketing system to track tickets and provide up-to-datestatus and information.
Move equipment associated with escalated help desk incidents and servicerequests
Trains and orients staff on use of hardware and software.
Recommends and / or performs upgrades on systems (Workstations & Printers)to ensure longevity.
Works with procurement staff to purchase hardware and software.
Manage the inventory of IT assessment.
This position requires the ability to work in a project-based environmentrequiring flexibility and teamwork.Performs other duties as assigned.
Excellent skills in user IT infrastructure Servers, Routers, Firewalls,Desktops, Laptops, Printers,Handhelds, Smartphone etc.
Strong technical skills in Microsoft Windows operating systems and businessproductivity applications
Administration experience of MS Active Directory users & groups, policiesand management concepts, VMWare ESXi,Microsoft Exchange.
Good knowledge on TCP / IP network administration
Experience supported on multiples smartphone operating systems . i.e. I0S,Android.
Good written and verbal communication skills in English
Ability to provide consistent, excellent customer support to entire staff, representinga variety of personalities andmanagement levels
Customer service skills
Ability to interact with customers so as to ensure that the service is polite,efficient and responsive
Must be detail oriented and self-motivating
A self-starter with ability to work on their own initiative
