To this end, we are seekingan experienced Technical Animator who can join our team and help pave the waytowards our new goals.

About the position

Sparx* is the leading studio in Vietnam providing premium digital arts and animations to the biggest movie blockbusters and AAA games.

We are looking for an ambitious, passionate yet humble Associate Art Producer who loves office environment but interested in managing art production workflows.

As an AAP, you will be collaborating with the Art Director, Team Leads, Artists and Production Manager to effectively organize, monitor and track asset development for games.

Responsible for the management of information flow during a project. Taking client requests, recording client notes and mentoring the progress of the crew are all part of the daily responsibilities of the Producer.

In addition, Producer will serve as a key front-line representative of the company and frequently deal directly with client.

Responsibilities

  • Model Check to Scenebuild check.
  • Support & Debug animation related issues including Game engine, DCC softwares.
  • Testing & implementing internal & R&D scripts- tools for the Animation team.
  • Technical bridge between TS-Assets-Rig-Layout Lighting & Anim Depts.
  • Setup dynamic animations such as cloth, physics and other technical animations.
  • Animating basic Cycles.
  • Some experience / understanding of Facial Capture technology and Facial Analysis software.
  • Documenting necessary information for Animators.
  • Helping animators to deliver clean scenes for Lighting (sliding keys issues, cycles infinity issues, penetration- flying feet, etc ).
  • Qualifications

  • MAYA proficiency (3Dsmax, MBuilder, Blender are a +).
  • UNREAL-UNITY knowledge.
  • Animation background is a + ( no need to be an exceptional animator though).
  • Experience with simulation, retargeting. Mocap, hair, cloth.
  • Rigging basics (Rigging background is a +).
  • Scripting knowledge is a + (MEL-PYTHON).
  • Technical & Problem-solving mindset.
  • Team spirit.
  • Can work independently / High sense of responsibility (As the animators’ work and productivity depend on the Anim TA’s work).
