JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Take primary responsibility for the Credit risk of the assigned own portfolio and maintain the quality of the portfolio at a high level.
  • Closely co-work with RM from the origination stage through post deal account monitoring, play a vital role for better deal structure with more value-added products (from a credit / policy perspective) and facilitate revenue growth in the portfolio.
  • Origination

  • Interact actively with clients and gather information with regard to deal requirements & financial statements & other inputs for performing quality analysis and due diligence.
  • Work with RM / product partners in developing credit solutions for the clients and ensuring the appropriateness of the products.
  • Work with RM in (i) obtaining all pre clearances (ii) preparing & presenting work-shopping note and (iii) expediting approvals.
  • Responsible for end-to-end BCA process including preparing all the tools such as scorecard, in-depth analysis about various risks, quality presentation and ensuring fast credit approval.
  • Ensure compliance of all internal and regulatory credit / other portfolio related policies
  • Post Deal Account monitoring

  • Monitor quality of the portfolio by tracking excess & past dues and credit issues
  • Monitor Risk Triggers, Covenants and other credit conditions and report appropriately
  • Ensure no report overdues.
  • Liaise with the Credit on credit reports & issues and ensure timely responses to queries.
  • Properly maintain Credit files and ensure them to be prepared for external and / or internal Audit at any time
  • Others

  • Prepare Stress Tests in a timely manner, wherever required
  • Prepare Credit Opinion reports wherever required.

  • Job Requirements

    Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree or above in Risk Management, Finance, Accounting or related disciplines
  • At least 3 years of experience in risk management / wholesale banking / audit / financial analysis.
  • Good understanding of accounting standards, financial analysis and banking products
  • Ability to work independently and in a team, detail oriented and good time management
  • Excellent written / verbal communication skills in English (mandatory)
  • CFA / CPA / ACCA is a plus.
