As the HR Manager, you will develop and drive people strategies for our businesses in Vietnam. You will be part of the Vietnam Leadership Team as well as a valuable member of a regional South Asia Pacific HR Leadership team.
You will partner closely with business to drive an inclusive and diverse culture and create relevant human resource policies and programs for employees in line with business needs.
You will develop a strong relationship with partners in talent acquisition, talent development, rewards, employee and labor relations and drive effective HR service delivery across business units.
You will be working closely with regional HR Director on some of the regional HR projects, and will assume some regional HR responsibilities.
You will engage with all areas of business to ensure strategic initiatives integrate human capital considerations. You will be bringing your strong HR business partnering skills and knowledge of best practices.
You will need to have considerable personal confidence, be decisive and agile, and intellectually sharp with sound judgment.
The position is based in Ho Chi Minh City and reports to Regional HR Director based in Singapore.
Your role responsibilities
As a HR leader and business partner, you will provide counsel on all HR matters and ensure that HR goals are aligned with Carrier’s strategic plans and programs for Vietnam based business units with focus on the following :
Partnering with leadership teams to develop key strategies and objectives for the organization, ensuring that the HR initiatives and programs are clearly aligned with business priorities.
Lead the organization change management process in response to business strategies.
Participate in and be a key contributor at key management discussions and provide HR input for strategic business projects and long-term planning and budgeting processes.
Partner with Talent Acquisition team to ensure timely pipelining of quality talent to meet business needs.
Play a leading role in key HR processes including talent review, compensation, performance management, talent development for the business units.
Provide advice and coaching to managers and employees on performance and development.
Establish and maintain a positive work environment which encourages the full use of the organization’s diverse talents and abilities.
Drive employee survey action plans and engagement outcomes including employee retention.
Drive workforce planning strategy including productivity and workforce effectiveness actions.
Support any potential HR diligence and integration initiatives as part of overall transformation.
Support governance framework for employee and labor relations with focus on compliance to local laws and consistent deployment of best practices that maintains harmonious industrial relations.
Requirements
At least 7+ years of diverse HR Leadership with business partnering experience preferably in the Multinational Corporation with at least 3 years in a country HR leadership role.
Ability to balance between being hands on’ and strategic’.
Talent obsessed passionate about bringing the best out of people and proven record of deploying talent strategies in support of business growth
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, assertive by conviction and collaborative by nature with strong people skills.
Strong commercial acumen, analytical ability and use of data to provide key business insights.
Strong reputation as a HR professional, integrity and judgment that is beyond reproach.
Strong ownership on execution with focus on result orientation.
