Role Description
We are looking for an experienced Head of IS Department to oversee all IT (Information Technology) functions in our company.
You will be in charge of a team of IT managers, representative of Global IT Hitachi Vantara (HV) in Vietnam and manage the company's technology operations and the implementation of new IT systems and policies.
An excellent candidate is very knowledgeable in IT and computer systems and has a solid technical background while able to manage and motivate people.
The ideal candidate will be experienced in creating and implementing IT policies and systems that will meet objectives.
The goal is to ensure IT systems and people work effectively and functioning within budget, time and business requirement of the company.
Responsibilities
Devise and establish IT Security policies and systems to support the implementation of strategies set by upper management and Global IT HV strategy and plan.
Oversee all technology operations (e.g. system, network, security) and evaluate them according to established goals
Analyze the business requirements of all departments to determine their technology needs.
Purchase efficient and cost-effective technological equipment and software
Inspect the use of technological equipment and software to ensure functionality and efficiency
Identify the need for upgrades, configurations or new systems and report to upper management
Lead all IT service lines and supervise deputy managers, team leaders, technicians and other professionals to provide guidance in both implementation and operation.
Control budget and report on expenditure
Assist in building relationships with vendors and creating cost-efficient contracts
Overseeing all technology operations and evaluating them according to established goals
Devising and establishing internal IT policies as a service and systems to support the implementation of strategies set by upper management such as SLA, SLO, RTO, RPO...
Hold BCP Execution Leader role to support for Business continuity plan and lead BCP support team and IS department to carry out all pro-active necessary actions to ensure Business going well in most cases.
Requirements
Proven experience as IT Senior Manager / IT Director or similar role
Experience in analysis, implementation and evaluation of IT systems and their specifications
Experience in analysis ITIL best practice and conduct ITIL framework.
Sound understanding of computer systems (hardware / software), networks etc.
Experience in controlling information technology budget
Excellent organizational and leadership skills
Outstanding communication abilities
Experience understanding and applying ISO 27001, ISO 9001, ITIL in IT Industry Company is plus
Native English on both speaking and writing.
