Join our Marine Service Operation Unit and help drive service and sales of Marine to the Marine industry in Vietnam.
Who you are;
You are a competent Electrician, solution-driven with a strong customer first mindset.
You are able to take calculated risks and make tough and fast decisions to meet the customer needs.
You enjoy international travelling and working on urgent and sometimes complicated cases.
You will be expected to do the trouble-shooting and servicing of Alfa Laval Pure Ballast Water Treatment equipment on board vessels.
About the job;
The purpose of the job is to help marine customers with field service on Pure Ballast Treatment equipment.
This position will be based in Vietnam, preferred in Hanoi.
Responsibilities :
Executing marine related services and tasks from International Marine Coordinator .
Sail with ships within the hub region to supervise and advice contractors for installation of PureBallast system in the right way. The role includes
communicating with the Ship’s officers and sending progress reports to headquarters on a regular basis.
Re-commissioning of existing systems.
Commissioning of new systems
Training of local FSE on board in relation of Pure Ballast commissioning process.
Acts as a regional knowledge and skill transfer from Central BU
technical specialists and cascades this out to local SC upon need.
Maintenance and trouble-shooting on Pure Ballast Systems and other AL equipment at a later stage.
What you need for this role
You should have a degree / diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification with experience of 5 - 10 years.
Strong experience on automation / system integration. Preference will be given to ship electricians who have sailed with ships in the past.
Fluent oral and written English skills and good communication skills.
Good command in Vietnamese language
