As Aperia expands our cloud presence with MS Azure we have a need for a skilled Azure Dev / Ops
Administrator to assist with the build and support of the environment, then train others on the team to
assist with these duties as needed.
Candidate will be required to have advanced knowledge of the various cloud service providers with a
strong emphasis on Microsoft Azure. They will execute vision of our architecture team as we build our
infrastructure in Azure and assist in guiding us on best practices such as performance, maintenance, monitoring.
Responsibilities
Maintains the company’s Azure environment
Works closely with technical groups including IT, system, network, architecture, development teams to build highly performing Azure environment that will be accessible by our clients & maintain deployment pipelines.
Makes recommendations on change to the current or future design based on experience and best practices
Creates and maintains documentation and diagrams
Work with architecture in design & implementation of an Azure based DevOps strategy and development process.
Implementation and support of a Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery process
Implementation and support of application infrastructure in Azure with Iaas, Paas, and IaC
Interacts with vendors and service providers to resolve complex system related problems
Reviews environment for adherence to compliance guidelines
Applicant must be able to exhibit proficiency at troubleshooting various cloud and system related issues
Assist with management of company’s Office 365 environment including SharePoint
Ability to work after hours to support after hours maintenance projects and on-call when necessary
