About the Opportunity
The Commercial Support Executive provides support to Discova Sales & Product teams by coordinating commercially sound and innovative proposals that exceed customer expectations and win bids.
The role requires both strong commercial acumen to ensure pricing is competitive and that business profit margins are maximized, as well as excellent organisational skills to ensure deadlines are met.
The Discova brand was launched in July 2019 and is the newest brand in the Flight Centre Travel Group family of brands. The merger of Buffalo Tours in Asia and Olympus Tours in the Americas created a global DMC business with more than 20 years experience in delivering amazing travel experiences to our customers.

Your main responsibilities are :
You will be the go to’ commercial member of staff with a strong commercial understanding.
Have a thorough understanding of Discova’s destinations, products and the requirements of Discova’s key accounts.
Ensure country teams comply with standard product range and design elements audit / compliance .
Pro-actively engage and build strong relationships with global sales, global product, and local product teams. Support process and system developments to improve the efficiency of the commercial department.
Support Business Development Managers by coordinating and benchmarking all multi-country and high value single country tenders (including both touring programs and FIT offers).
About you : The Essentials :
The Essentials :
A Bachelor degree or 2 years-experience in tourism
Travel industry, especially OTA, FIT and Discova destination knowledge.
Travel to or in our destinations or prior experience living in them in is a plus.
Fluent in both written and spoken English.
The Attributes :
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, especially Microsoft Excel
Proficient with any business intelligence tools creating reports and dashboards and Discova’s systems would be an advantage
Strong commercial acumen and analytics
High attention to details, well-organized documentation & strong time / priority management skills
Well-developed problem-solving skill
Customer centric with commitment to high standards of service delivery
Excellent communicator to a diverse range of people
Strong interpersonal and presentation skills across culture
Able to work independently or in a team environment
