Responsible for identifying and researching component failures to improve product yield, quality and / or reliability.
Evaluates the electrical and mechanical characteristics of integrated circuits, components, subcomponents, and systems to determine the root cause of failure with combination of electrical, material and mechanical knowledge.
Analyzes failure reports and recommends corrective action to prevent reoccurrence of problems.
Uses all standard and advanced electronic test equipment such as Electrical validation, SEM, FIB, 3D -Xray, FTIR, X-prep CNC precision, Ion Milling, etc.
Maintain necessary records and reports.
Candidate will also support new product transfer and startup and the automation and improvement of the failure analysis process.
Strives to proliferate shared learning across sites, demonstrate leadership skill to initiate and form a team to drive improvement with respective stake holders.
Performs other related duties as required or as directed.
Qualifications
Master's or a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Microelectronics, or equivalent majors.
Additional qualifications include :
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work well in a diverse team environment.
Able to manage project, lead improvement experiences with leadership skills are added advantage
Fresh Master graduate or at least 2 years of relevant working experience.
