Job Description

The Channel Sales Leader will assume a leadership role in accelerating profitable sales growth for the Medical Solutions Division (MSD) business in Vietnam.

This entails formulating and implementing distribution and key account plans to accelerate sales growth, as well as to provide sales supervision and leadership with cross-functions.

Key Responsibilities : Formulate and implement channel sales plan, distribution coverage to accelerate sales growth for MSD Understand current situation and enhance sales effectiveness of Channel Partners following 5-year strategyProactively look for business opportunities in potential or substitute channels to propose to Division Sales Leader.

Create and build market access to better address target segments, to drive business sustainablyHandles non-routine and difficult inquiries.

  • Adapts differing techniques and methods to develop solutions for a variety of complex issues. Applies analytical skills for analysis and interpretation of trends or data generated by company reporting systems, statistical results, or other information collection systemsInteraction is primarily focused on providing advice, usually involving the explanation and discussion of difficult information directly related to the professional disciplineActively participates in relevant corporate programs / initiatives, complies with professional and quality standards, complies with corporate policies and procedures, and acts in a manner consistent with 3M’s values and ethical standardsImplement management objectives and policies and contribute to the company’s overall development by participating in the decision and policy making process;
  • organizes work; maintains open communication channels, follow-up on work assigned and emphasize results.Keep abreast with target audience's changing behaviors, market trends, needs, potential, penetration, coverage, distribution, and competitionRequired Qualification / Experience : Possesses a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, or equivalentAt least 6 years of experience in leading Distributors or working with a Sales Team & Distributors in the Healthcare industryWell versed in all aspects of channel sales management, including planning and execution, sales effectiveness development, trading terms negotiation, effective communication Most complex problem solving may include the use of extensive experience, individual reasoning, and research which may deviate from standard techniques and practices Advanced persuasion skills and balances differing interests and perspectives Possess a burning desire to excel with strong leadership and interpersonal skillsAn individual with a reputation for honesty and personal integrityKey Performance Metrics : Channel sales targetNumeric distribution coverage targetOperating Income Target, Inventory Turn Target, AR targetLearn more about 3M’s creative solutions to the world’s problems at or on Twitter 3M.
