As an HR Business Partner, you will work for both parties : HR Department and BU.
You is an HR, but primarily serves the Business Unit as an
Advisor / Consultant / Trainer / Coach / Mentoring / Support / Monitoring / Deployment / Measurement / Overall review of issues related to BU’s people.
HRBP can feedback in a straightforward way to the Functional Team of HR
Department for not doing well in the Shared Services provisioning role, or applying
policies that are inconsistent with that BU, or the process is too cumbersome, too much trouble, making it impossible for BU to implement.
HRBP is also the reverse provider of that BU's Insight for HR Functional Teams about Business Performance, Talent Inventory (Profiles, Culture, Norms.
HRBP is the CEO's right hand in blowing fire and keeping fire for employees, timely listening and acting to increase team engagement and loyalty, and support CEO to keep Right People for BU there.
HRBP along with the CEO will have to constantly re-inforce the issues of Corporate Culture, Core Values, Teamwork spirit, Code of Conduct, Internal Rules of the BU's staff
HRBP is the representative of the HR department in the Implementation of HR-related projects, programs, policies, and procedures designed by HR Functional Team, to the right target audience of each program or project.
HRBP also serves as a bridge between the Management Team of BU and the entire Staffs of BU through listening to the initiative and aspirations of BU staff, proposing the necessary actions to build & develop.
