Job Details

  • This role requires the incumbent to "grow the business" and be focused on achievement of sales targets.
  • Work on core deliverables such as increasing brand awareness, creating new potential Customers, expanding the business of our existing distribution, and developing new business opportunities particularly in the areas of Transport
  • Establish new customers whilst maintaining existing clients through business development activities in a variety of industry sectors such as mining, government and general industry.
  • Provide technical advice / support to other sales engineers and customers on a range of Xylem transport products, attempting to match customer needs with engineered solutions.
  • Solicit new business opportunities and raise product awareness through customer dialogues or visits and participating in marketing initiatives or promotions such as exhibitions, tradeshows to maximize brand awareness.
  • Manage customer and price of products in business areas to ensure overall product profitability.
  • Analyze and evaluate business performance in selected product areas to improve efficiency and growth opportunities for the treatment business.
  • Prepare sales orders, reports and paperwork to satisfy branch and customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with other staff under Country manager and Xylem policies.
