ROLE PURPOSE
The Distribution Centre Manager has the responsibility for the day-to-day management of all tasks relevant to the Distribution Center.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
In charge of planning operations and activities, with the company’s budget in mind. Managing budget and expenses of activities at Distribution Center.
Address any issues within the organization and promulgate solutions that can resolve such problems.
Management of staff, 3PLs resources to ensure that inbound and outbound activities are optimally planned, executed, and meet customer / business expectation
Ensure the transportation and stock movement of products / goods are arranged, executed in a timely manner, and effective cost
Ensure all of the transactions for physical moving is input into systems in a timely manner and accuracy
Responsible for implementing procedures / SOPs for activities at Distribution Center, compliance with department procedures, company policies
Manage performance of 3PLs to meet KPIs
Monitoring 3PLs to ensure that safety and environment standards are in place for any warehousing and distribution activities to provide a safe working environment driving towards the effective operation.

Key to your success in this role will be :
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics / Supply Chain, Business or related field
Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role
Results and strategy-oriented, leadership, strong oral and written communication, analytical, project and risk management and building relationship
Prioritization and time management, cross-functional, change management, resources and team management, active listening, adaptability and interpersonal
Understands transport modes, networks and operations in supply chains, transport capacity utilization, costing and pricing, warehousing and product handling, transport, storage, and facility functions
Understands distribution channels and customer support facilities
Working knowledge of supply chain interactions. Proficient in data access tools and PC based applications (Windows, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
