ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
To grow market share of our TAs and brands that leads to becoming market leader in Vietnam.
Strategic planning. Building innovative marketing plans for the portfolio.
Support business sustainability with forecasting of new business opportunities and successful new product launches.
Leveraging customer insights to differentiate EPD in our target segments and develop the portfolio strategy.
Support execution of consumer campaigns for key brands.
Close partnership with Hospital Sales Director and Trade Director to ensure that sales and marketing teams are working collaboratively to drive execution of core programs.
There is a high degree of indirect influence on sales.
Lead the Vietnam marketing team with strategic focus and clear priorities.
Continually upgrade marketing capabilities in the marketing team to develop and retain marketing talent so there are successors being developed for all key roles.
Recommend validated brand plans for key brands to input to financial planning with deep understanding of :
Market dynamics (Market / category / Brand trends, competitive position, regulatory landscape, local differences etc.).
Brand in the Consumer and HCP context.
Marketing tasks, activation plans including media and budget.
Represent Vietnam in EPD Marketing forums to support divisional (EPD) Marketing initiatives.
Input into regional brand strategies, innovation pipeline / launch plans, regional campaigns and facilitate best practice sharing to enhance marketing synergies and competencies.
Set a high bar for team performance and inspired the team to exceed expectations.
Build strong bench of talent development for Marketing with strategic focus and clear priorities.
Develop and implement Intrapreneurship culture for the team.
MINIMUM BACKGROUND / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Minimum Experience / Training Required :
Detailed knowledge of Rx products with a specialization in a key TA to support medical marketing : CV (cardiovascular)WH (womenâ
153;s health)CNS (central nervous system)GI (Gastroenterology)Respiratory
10+ years senior marketing experience in the pharmaceutical industry with demonstrated strategic thinking and planning capability that has led to business growth.
Experience in insight led marketing plan development.
Track record to launch new products, categories and integrated brand campaigns.
Experience in media plan briefing and assessment, advertising / integrated campaign launches, media KPIs and brand health measurement.
Deep understanding of the workings of consumers, retailers and HCPs in Vietnam.
Experience in managing a complex portfolio, preferably with experience in Rx, OTC and digital.
Ideally with broader commercial experience beyond marketing.

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED
