As a Technical Product Manager with GeoGuard, you will oversee all product management activities for various products, working directly and taking direction from the Head of Development.
You will manage all stages of the development process, including gathering and compiling product requirements, developing product timelines, adjusting plans and schedules as required, ensuring the overall quality of the products.
Your key accountabilities and responsibilities will include (but not limited to) :
Develop and maintain assigned GeoGuard products.
Gather and compile product requirements, seeking input from and liaising with all relevant stakeholders.
Develop and communicate product schedule to team, ensuring on-time delivery, at the expected or requested level of quality.
Address issue escalations raised by team that may impact product requirements, features or project timeline and manage accordingly.
Ensure product guarantees geolocation compliance by forecasting and testing all potential vulnerabilities.
Seek to optimize QA process through development of efficient unit tests, automated tests.
Work closely with the data analysis team to analyze the performance and risks of the product on production.
provide coaching and guidance on best practices in communication of technical information to the development team.
Work to create synergies across the Company and encourage early communication of development plans to other departments, other development teams.
Seek to ensure business team is aware of key decisions made in the development process, particularly as they relate to the choices made on important functionality included / excluded in each new release.
Fully understand features of 3rd party products and services that the product team relies on for the product to function.
These include products developed by GeoGuard and by others.
Provide Sales Support related to GeoGuard’s products to potential new customers, including the development of pre-sales documentation as requested; onboard new customers.
Skills & Qualifications :
7 years’ experience in a product management capacity, leading a team of developers.
At least 3 years of experience in product management of a mobile software product (iOS / Android).
Solid technical foundation on mobile development (iOS / Android) is required.
Excellent leadership skills with ability to motivate team members and others involved in projects.
Proven experience planning and managing product life cycles
Demonstrated ability to see things through to completion to all parties’ satisfaction.
Strong organizational skills.
Solutions-oriented with ability to work under pressure.
Strong communication and ability to adapt to communicating with different stakeholders such as clients, developers and administration team members, across different time zones.
Fluent English communication skills, especially verbal and written
Experience preparing reports and presentations, and data analysis
