Today, Automotive Steering already generates around 60 percent of its sales with electric steering systems. A compact, locally developed, and particularly inexpensive steering for cars for Asian markets shows that the company offers more than just solutions for premium vehicles.

As a Project Manager, you will play a crucial part of team to contribute to these activities, divided into R(esponsible), A(pprover), S(upport), I(nformed) and C(onsultant) :
Manage the project and achieve the project goals according to the Project Management Plan (PMP)
Prepare, carry out planning, execute, monitor and control from beginning (kick off / QGC0) to end (QGC5)
Report project included but not limited to identification, implementation and escalation of necessary changes on project / system level
Optimize project handling and implementation of Automotive Steering Focus Topic results
Provide risk management on project level (monetary evaluation and avoidance, mitigation strategy)
Communicate, escalate, manage crisis with internal or external partners and customers in coordination with customer account
Acquire and consult knowledge, control of critical path
Establish planning, control of product cost, project budget and resources
Lead the entire project team
Conduct approval product release and Technical Costumer Documentation (TCD)
Trigger and keep track of purchase requisitions (development samples, external engineering services)
Qualifications
B.S or equivalent degree in Mechatronic Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Computing Engineering, Information Technology or related major.
3+ years of experience in leading Embedded Software development project team based on solid project management capability and experience.
Hands-on experience in development within the discipline (SYS, MECH, or SW) ( 2 years)
Acquire practical knowledge of software development life-cycle, project management processes.
Strong leadership experience in cross functional teams, communication and interpersonal skills
Customer focused product development - user and customer experience knowledge
Capability to moderate and negotiate
Good at networking and engage connection
English proficiency is a must. Japanese proficiency is a plus
Software development background in Automotive domain is a treasure.
