Job Purpose :

  • Build, lead and grow business in the country across GrabFood
  • Identify and collaborate on strategic partnerships within the industry, and lead the team to capture key opportunities in the market

  • Key Responsibilities : Functional


  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve the product, focus on customer centric initiatives roll out to improve customer experience and to drive user acquisition / growth and engagement.
  • Prepare business and growth plans and own its entire execution business results, P&L, and performance targets. This includes overseeing the operating plan, marketing plan, budgets, cash flow and overall company finances
  • Analyze and monitor key user metrics to improve the product and marketing efforts.

  • Proactively work with both local and regional teams to share best practices and efficiently use common resources.

  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve and iterate the product; focus on customer-centric initiatives rollout to improve customer experience;
  • drive user acquisition / growth and engagement


  • Develop quarterly budgets and operational targets and work with Finance team on finance and accounting of the country, including financial KPIs and reporting
  • Ensure that the company and its businesses comply with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements and, where appropriate, best practice.
  • People

  • Build a high-calibre team, internally and externally, through coaching and training of teammates
  • Requirements :

  • Minimum 7-10 years of relevant work experience in Management Consulting, Marketing, or Business Development.
  • Excellent leadership, amanagement, problem solving, negotiations, interpersonal, and communications skills.
  • Goal getter and self-motivated leader who is able to get things done.
  • One who is also willing to both lead at high level and be hands on as needed and proactively assume responsibilities and ownership.
  • Ability to work independently and deal effectively with complex, changing and ambiguous environment.
  • Ability to combine big picture thinking with detail orientation.
  • Able to initiate and maintain strong relationships with relevant industry partners, suppliers and contractors.
  • Passionate about the social mission and making a positive impact in emerging markets.
