WHAT THIS POSITION IS ABOUT - PURPOSE
The role will be responsible to support business operations and growth in line with other functions / regional / global direction protecting or increase volume / profit, support and engage our stakeholders.
To be responsible for the development of company brand & reputation and implementation of the internal and external communications strategy.
The external communications strategy will reflect the Company’s views on a wide range of topics including the regulatory environment, taxation, illegal trade of tobacco, public and media relations and any other issue deemed necessary to protect the commercial and reputational interests of JTI.
The internal communications strategy will engage our employees and distributors employees as "One" team. The role will comprise to drive JTI sustainability agenda for a positive impact including all the local community investment programs.
WHAT WILL YOU DO - RESPONSIBILITIES
Protect and uphold JTI's corporate reputation
Develop an effective stakeholder’s management (including a full company mapping of stakeholders associated with our ERM & Crisis Communication Management plan, coordinating with EXCOM and monitor engagement plan actions)
Monitor our Enterprise Risk Management and organize Crisis Communication preparedness regularly
Define a clear corporate brand positioning in alignment with other functions and global / regional directions and communications strategy (by engaging our distributors, media and new communication channels)
Manage the development and operation of effective communications for external stakeholders so that JTI is speaking with consistency on the issues affecting its business
Support the Corporate Affairs function from a communications perspective in its regulatory engagement activities
Successfully develop and implement local media relations strategy (networking, campaign,intelligence, crisis preparedness and monitoring)
Engage our people to connect them to our JTI's vision 2030
Develop and implement in coordination with People & Culture (P&C) a communication plan on Employer Brand
Co-lead with People & Culture (P&C) the Employee Engagement Team in term of strategy, empowerment, monitoring and activities deployement
Setup the different communication channels and organize the activities to coordinate the content to engage our employees and distributors employees
Ensure our leadership communication from global campaign but also local EXCOM clearly shared to our organization
Drive company sustainability agenda
Secure long term success, embed our sustainability requirements and targets into the business
Implement our corporate sustainability agenda to support company reputation and corporate responsibilities
Manage the strategy and implementation of local community investment programmes to deliver real change and impact to enhance inclusiveness in the community we operate
Engage with our employees and value chain in our volunteer program
Others :
Support and follow-up with Corporate Affairs and Communications (CA&C) Director various tasks and projects as they arise and upon Manager's request
Support Corporate Affairs and Communications (CA&C) Director to develop / coach a strong team by assisting in the recruitment, training, motivation and retention of best of class talents to ensure Corporate Affairs and Communications (CA&C) mission is achieved with the highest quality standards
Share workload of various commun department tasks as part of the Corporate Affairs and Communications (CA&C) Team
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR - REQUIREMENTS :
University degree. Major in communications, PR, journalism or related subject is a plus.
At least 5 years in communications with stakeholders egagement exposure
Working in tobbaco industry or equivalent sensitive industry is a plus
Strong English / Vietnamese written & verbal skiils
Functional Skills :
Interpersonal relations & Influencing skills
Basic financial acument is a plus
Corporate communication is mandatory
Corporate / external / government affairs experience is a plus
Entrepeuneur mindset is a plus
Sustainability knowledge and interest is a plus
