This position holder maintains customer relationship management & contributes to develop the incremental business of the existing customers

  • Ensure effectively communications with both external clients and internal teams.
  • Establish a forum to communicate market & competitor trends to the internal Keppel Team.
  • Support the implementation of new / renew business in accordance with Keppel’s Implementation process.
  • Understand Keppel pricing and cost components. The capability of doing the costing or managing the P&L for the whole life of the project.
  • Contact & negotiate with suppliers for competitive price and better terms & conditions for the contract / tender.
  • Analysis of problems / trouble shooting with customer.
  • Ensure quality preparation of SOP and other documents to be executed by the Key Account Management Team and take care of a smooth hand over process to existing interfaces (Operations, Finance).
  • Regularly review of processes and if necessary improvements and cost savings.
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationship with key customers, potential customers.
  • Understand the operations of the accounts in charge.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

  • Minimum bachelor degree in Logistics & Warehouse Management, Supply Chain Management or Business Administration.
  • Preferred minimum 2- 3 years in Contract Logistics / Supply Chain Industry.
  • Knowledge of Warehouse & Transport Operations & Design is a plus.
  • Solid experience to support our Key Accounts’ inquiries, operations issues and data analysis and reporting (such as SOPs and KPIs).
  • Ability to emphasize with client and present client needs effectively to internal the internal Keppel team and management.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills that builds respected professional relationships internally & externally.
  • Team driven, customer-focused, ability to solve problems quickly.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Proficient in spoken and written English.
