RMIT Vietnam will begin delivering the Foundation Studies pathway program from its Saigon South and Ha Noi City campuses in 2022.
Reporting to the SEUP Director at RMIT Vietnam and functionally reporting to the Deputy Director Foundation Studies at RMIT Training, the Program Manager PM will initially oversee the preparation and implementation of the program.
Once the program begins, the PM will liaise across RMIT Training in Melbourne and RMIT Vietnam and oversee learning & teaching, operations & administration, and people management functions to ensure student achievement, quality assurance and compliance.

Key Selection Criteria
A Bachelor’s degree in the area relevant to the subject being taught (Bachelor Education etc.) A Masters qualification is desirable.
Significant leadership and management experience in a similar role and within a cross-functional team environment in matrix environment;
Significant experience in leading and teaching Foundation Studies programs;
A recognised international qualification in teaching English as a foreign / second / further language (such as (CELTA or equivalent).
At least 2 years’ experience of senior secondary, vocational education and training college, or higher education teaching experience, including a breadth of experience delivering to students from non-English speaking background.
Commitment to quality education and an understanding of contemporary approaches to teaching and learning that underpin pathways programs at RMIT Vietnam / Training.
Demonstrated leadership and management experience in motivating, leading and developing successful and result driven academic / teaching teams within higher education institutions.
Experience in providing significant and valuable input into strategic and operational directives to support achievement of organisation strategic plans and goals
Demonstrated technical and systems related experience and skills to be able to lead understanding and effective utilization of course administrative systems.
Ability to meet deadlines and effectively manage varying workloads and respond to changing priorities as required.
Expertise and resourcefulness in knowing and sourcing appropriate materials to supplement the curriculum and support achievement of learning objectives.
Strong commercial awareness skills and an ability to apply this to the Education sector, acknowledging difference and similarities;

English is the language of teaching and communication at RMIT Vietnam. For this role, the minimum requirement is IELTS 7.5 or equivalent.
