Get to know the Role :

  • Ensure monthly management account and year end financial statements are prepared timely and accurately
  • Provide support to country’s business activity by providing financial support and reporting
  • The day-to-day activities :

  • Planning, evaluating, implementing and continuously improving all aspects of credit and collection function and processes.
  • Maintain efficient records of collection activities & resolve outstanding debts promptly
  • If service were too being stopped for non-payment, this position would be responsible for approving the sending of a final demand letter.
  • Addressing ongoing customer complaints concerning billing or service rendered and works on complaints of service failure with designated department
  • Oversea and assists with the short-paid invoices
  • Follow up and negotiate with debtors for acceptable repayment plans and composite payments.
  • Maintain the safety of staff when staff out for field collection.
  • Customer

  • Works closely with the Billing Department to implement processes and policies that contribute to accurate invoicing.
  • Working closely with vertical head to respond to collections concerns with existing and potential clients.
  • Addressing ongoing customer complaints concerning billing or service rendered and works on complaints of service failure with designated department
  • Interaction with Regional Finance on monthly queries arises

  • The must haves :

    Graduate with degree qualified with 10 to 15 years’ of relevant experience, including strong exposure to credit, collections, risk and portfolio management.

  • Strong inter-personal skill and able to work with team members from all levels
  • Good leadership quality and ability to propose for solution for issues identified
  • Ability to meet tight deadline with minimum supervision
  • Able to work in a fast-driven and dynamic work environment
  • Resourceful, proactive and self-driven, initiative
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
  • Relevant experience in special projects concerning Collections.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office for Windows (Words, PowerPoint and Excel) is required
