  • Responsible for planning and managing the operations of the hotel to achieve customer (guests, employees, corporate and owners) satisfaction and quality service while meeting / exceeding financial goals.
  • Maximize hotel’s profitability
  • Increase and maintain the value of the asset
  • To be directly responsible for the sales and revenue management strategy and implementation of the hotel
  • Responsible for short and long term planning and day-to-day operations.
  • Recommends the hotel’s budget, marketing plans and business plans and manages within approved plans and objectives.
  • Responsible for the direct supervision of the hotel’s executive committee and the indirect supervision of all hotel employees.
  • The General Manager has ultimate responsibility for the overall satisfaction and achievement of the hotel’s goals.

  • Work directly with the Human Resources function, to ensure appropriate hiring, training, motivating, coaching, counselling and developing of team members
  • Conducts a daily briefing with management on current key activities
  • Evaluate changes in guest needs, the guest mix and competitive set, to recommend appropriate product / service and operational changes as necessary
  • Anticipate and address guest issues and establish proactive processes to promote guest satisfaction
  • Interacts in a positive way with all team members to ensure a luxury guest experience
  • Other tasks which are assigned by Board of Director

  • Minimum of 7 years operational management experience or at least 3 years previous General Manager experience in hospitality industry
  • A strong understanding of hotel operations and administration, included budgeting, forecasting, human resources, sales and marketing
  • Ability to study, analyse and interpret complex activities and / or information in order to improve new practices or develop new approaches
  • Must have exceptional sales, pricing, and revenue management competencies
  • Must have the ability to understand global markets that affect the business of the hotel
  • Must perform well under stress and be adaptable to changing work environments
  • Strong decision making skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent English skills (speaking, listening, writing, reading)
  • Good communication at all levels
  • Ability to train and develop team members
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Good computer skills (word processing, spread sheet, and presentation software)
