Job Description

You are responsible for supporting Sales & Profit by setting and implementing an HR strategy to deliver a Great Customer Experience in line with your area goals and country HR focuses.

You contribute to building of great teams in the area by bringing to live our EVP as well as having robust talent and development strategy.

You ensure that your area actively works with succession planning, leadership development and structured performance and contribution check-ins based on results, values, technical competences and growth potential.

You ensure that we offer all employees fair attractive work conditions and that all people relation responsibilities, legislation and H&M policies are fulfilled to meet expectations of customers and colleagues.

Key responsibilities :

Attract, Recruit and Onboard

  • You analyze and action on your Area’s future needs, including staff rotation, expansion and consolidation for all store positions.
  • Implement, facilitate and follow up on quality recruitment processes and trainings to your store team.
  • Explore various recruitment channel in your country, support and organize quality assured recruitment drives.
  • Together with the Area and Store Team you plan and organize onboarding training for Store Management Team and consistently follow up on quality and desired outcome.
  • You ensure onboarding Training for Sales Advisors is carried out in your existing and new stores together with Store Management Team in a qualitative and engaging way.
  • Together with the Area Team and Store Managers, you follow up and evaluate HR KPIs and initiate actions accordingly to support the business.
  • Learn and Develop

  • Collaborating with Area and Store Management Team, you drive structured performance and contribution check-ins regularly, ensuring all team members receive clear feedbacks on their performance and have a clear development plan to develop and grow.
  • You actively follow up on development plan and supports Store Managers in developing their teams ensuring a strong talent and leadership strategy contributing to Area and Country talent pipeline and needs.
  • You analyze and action on your Area’s learning needs, organize and facilitate training together with Central HR team ensuring quality in your trainers and training stores.
  • Together with the Area, Store Management and Central HR team, you drive our Learning Formular and Approach encouraging teams to make intentional time for learning as well as acquiring competences on a broad view, not limited to upcoming job opportunities / promotion.

  • Adequate working experience with HR / People management at both strategic, implementation and day to day operational level - managing sizable teams.
  • Similar scope of responsibilities in a well structured, cross functional fashion retailer or business.
  • Bachelor degree / relevant academic certification in HR management or relevant field.
