This role is a commercial customer facing role that has overall responsibility for the commercial and financial development of a Premier Sales Customer portfolio, within a defined geographical scope, through promoting and selling standard Damco products.
The BDM will play an active role in managing and expanding a personal customer portfolio as a function of business needs.
The purpose of the role is to deliver planned levels of Business (Volume / Actual CM1) from existing and targeted Premier Customers, with a clear focus on Standard Products and predefined Trade lanes.

Concentrating to grow the key / large size customer in Vietnam, coordinating to client owner to develop the regional / global customer as well.
Development the Strategic sales in both International Freight & Contract logistics business.
Achieve the assigned sale budget of strategic sales in Vietnam

Commercial Accountabilities :
Maintain and develop the existing customers assigned.
Secure new contracted customers for both freight (sea and air) and contract logistics.
Develop the trade lane as assigned coordinating with sales office globally.
Promote the sales for the focused sales campaigns.
Support and materialize the sales leads from overseas sales and further develop for local profit.
Ensure the customer database up to date.
Ensure the sales pipeline updated with the most recent status.
Be the key contributor to the signed off sales budget and objectives for 2011.
Increase awareness of Damco brand and capability in local market
Support the customer surveys and marketing plans by Damco
