Direct all stages of development to achieve business objectives & financial goals.
Align with global teams to maintain product integrity with respect to last, construction, upper & proto development.
Partner cross-functionally and globally on the execution of development, costing and implementation of strategies to drive decision making.
Ensure all products are developed, engineered and produced in accordance with all specifications, including compliance and quality standards, while meeting financial goals and maintaining design aesthetic.
Direct technical development process including last and fit.
Troubleshoot product execution, quality, fit and production issues and establish corrective action plans.
Evaluate factory base for future capacity and category planning. Identify / source new factories.

A minimum of 15 years’ experience in footwear development.
Knowledge of materials, pattern and footwear constructions.
Knowledge of costing, product integrity and margin.

Demonstrable experience managing highly independent individuals and making them work as a team.
Excellent negotiation, communications and co-ordination skills and strong communication skills in written and oral English.
