As Product Manager for GLP1, you will get an opportunity to work within a high performing marketing team based in Novo Nordisk Vietnam.

The Position

In this role, you will support the implementation of global marketing strategies in your country by working with multiple internal and external stakeholders.

You will play an important role to support upcoming launches and in ensuring launch readiness, formulating product messages, communicating and evaluating the success of maketing campaigns.

This position will be located in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam reporting to the Business Unit Director for GLP1 & Rare Diseases.

Specific duties include but not limited to :

  • Conduct effective market research to identify trends and assess the product’s competitive position ; w ork with the BU Director to align product strategy with portfolio strategy for the affiliate and design the product marketing plan while ensuring alignment with the planning process;
  • propose the product marketing budget and manage it efficiently to maximise return on investment for Novo Nordisk.

  • Ensure that the launch plan is in place, and develop the product campaign including advertising and salesforce promotional materials;
  • communicate product promotions and plans to the salesforce to ensure alignment with NN strategy; drive the implementation of product strategies and campaigns while monitoring sales progression and performance regularly.

  • Provide practical and motivational product and pre-launch training for product promotion specialists and new sales representatives.
  • Consult / collaborate with the medical department to align marketing and medical messages; provide feedback on product performance to the Sales force and Sales Manager.
  • Identify and develop contact with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs); maintain and execute a regular visit plan with target customers in coordination with the Sales force;
  • coordinate with creative and event agencies to ensure success of promotional campaigns


  • You have a relevant academic degree within medical or business administration area; MBA degree is a plus
  • You have minimum 3 years of marketing experience within pharmaceutical industry
  • Your knowledge and experience of the disease area as well as the local healthcare landscape and customer-base are considered an advantage
  • You have excellent and effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good command of English is required, both written and spoken
