What this job involves :

The individual will lead, manage and direct the strategic sourcing and vendor management processes for the country to achieve company, country and account goals, including project assessment, strategy development, vendor evaluation and negotiation of terms to meet quality, cost, performance, and vendor diversity targets.

This individual is responsible to develop sourcing strategies, vendor communications, request for proposals (and related due diligence), cost analytics, category strategies, supply market analysis, deal strategy, pricing strategy, deal negotiations (contract terms and conditions, scopes of work, pricing, service levels, etc.

contract development, and contract administration. The individual will be a key stakeholder and decision-maker for procurement projects.

Responsibilities :

  • Lead, develop and execute strategies in procurement (sourcing, contract, risk management, and vendor management) functions.
  • Build consensus and deliver buy in for sourcing strategies.
  • Define and initiate complex reduction initiatives and standardisation programs through involvement of all country accounts.
  • Develop and lead complex short-term and longer-term sourcing strategies, effectively manage vendors and internal networks to deliver best in class performance.
  • Manage vendor(s) to ensure overall performance expectations are met across the country and associated accounts.
  • Provide guidance in the resolution of escalated vendor issues and ensure appropriate vendor management and performance metrics have been agreed
  • Own vendor pricing activities for new business and renewal needs.
  • Own sourcing compliance and controls across the country. Identify and develop opportunities for improvement.
  • Mentor, train and guide the account teams to execute account-based activities.
  • Comply with all JLL and client policies and procedures, including but not limited to ethics and business practice.

  • Strong Inter-personal skills, Communication skills, Organization skills, Strong Analytical Ability, Proven ability to collaborate in decentralized environment.
  • Min 3 years of professional knowledge of procurement principals and approach.
  • Sound knowledge of corporate regulations and legislation to ensure creation of effective and binding contracts.
