Take ownership for delivering complex projects
In this role, you will be working in the Production Controls business and you will develop products and provide solutions to meet client deliverables in the Subsea projects portfolio.
You will utilise your experience and expertise to develop subsea products to effect short-term and long-term business goals.
As the Mechanical Design Engineer, you shall support offshore operations and workshop activities including technical documentation, investigations and solutions.
You will also be responsible for :
Engaging with relevant stakeholders (internal and external) developing and maintaining effective relationships / partnerships to meet project deliverables.
Generating of technical procurement specifications, parts and document suites.
Taking task ownership while working under the guidance of lead and controlled title engineers.
Ensuring that product design conforms to the requirements specifications.
Promoting Compliance, Quality & EHS integrity through developing succinct procedures, work instructions, product and process related documentation and creatively promote their use.
Being continuously contribute to department and site goals and objectives.
Taking responsibility in working across global SPS Engineering Teams to deliver solutions to assigned work packages.
Demonstrating ability to multi-task and work to agreed schedules.
Supporting FAT, EFAT, SIT and commissioning both onsite and offsite
Ensuring all individual and team activities must comply with company HSE and Operating Policies and Procedures and relevant standards where applicable and appropriate (e.
g., API, ASME, ANSI, ISO, IET, ATEX OSHAS NORSOK CompEx, OSHAS (NFPA 70E ).

To be successful in this role you will need to :
Have Bachelor's Degree in Mechatronic / Mechanical Engineering
2-5 years of mechanical design experience within relevant industries like Oil and Gas, Energy, Industrial or renewables environment.
Be conscientious, flexible, versatile and determined. Capable of assertive and positive communication and performance.
Be fully fluent in English. Effective team working.
Be flexible in applying different approaches to changing work demands.
Be able to actively build relationships with clients.
Have demonstrate sufficient depth of industrial experience of which some should be in directly related engineering or in a relevant technical discipline.
Have experience within Subsea Production Control Systems (PCS), design and Intervention product lines.
Have experience and knowledge of direct and indirect hydraulic and electrical control systems, and electrical and hydro-mechanical product design
Be competent in applying company & industrial standards into engineering designs.
Be competent in relevant Design, Modelling, Analysis, Management and Documentation software.
Be proficiency in Creo, Team Center, ePIMS, AUTOCAD, etc.
