Avery Dennison is looking for a regional Global Workforce Operations (GWO) Director to help us drive a world-class employee experience in our South Asia, ASEAN, and Africa region.
The Regional Leader will serve as a key member of the GWO leadership team and will collaborate internally with our HR leaders, Business Operations, COE’s, and IT.
This leader has end-to-end accountability for
Overall leadership of our employee life cycle experiences & HR Data management / transactions
HR Reporting & Analytics
Employee workforce experience support (case management)
Payroll & Time and Attendance Management
Compensation Administration Processes
Support of business projects & initiatives
Supporting internal and external audits
This position will coach and develop team members to take ownership and accountability of their service and performance, using data to constantly find ways of improving processes and experience.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience and subject matter expertise in HR operations, HR Service Delivery Technology, compliance, project management, and driving process improvements.
Experience in leading or working within a HR customer service or shared services center environment is mandatory, and past experience leading and developing others is required.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience creating an HR Shared Service center in a multicultural environment and will bring best practices to achieve operational excellence.
Your Responsibilities :
Lead and develop a team of Workforce Operations and payroll team members
Assume ownership of end-to-end lifecycle employee experience.
Ensure overall compliance to employment laws and general compliance standards within the region
Redesign HR and Business processes as necessary in order to deliver a strong employee experience and ensure that the HR Service Delivery Technology can be maximized to deliver HR efficiency & effectiveness.
Optimize HR technology systems creating opportunities for automation and reduction of manual processes
Drive a culture of operational excellence & continuous improvement by establishing a process to ensure all GWO processes and documentation are reviewed, streamlined, simplified and updated on a regular basis to meet the needs of the business
Develop and maintain Hub HR policies and procedures on a regular review cycle and ensure alignment with global policies
Continuously improve the quality of HR data and the integrity of downstream analytics
Deliver operational excellence via clear service level and compliance standards that define expectations and create accountability for delivering enhanced value through HR Services
Partner to build and utilize dashboards to enable transparency and access to information
Cultivate deep working partnerships with stakeholders across teams
Work closely with other hub leaders to ensure synergies and harmonization of country, regional or global processes wherever possible
Bachelor’s degree or higher
Minimum of 10 years of experience resulting in strong knowledge of HR operations, payroll, benefit programs, technology, and service delivery in a growing organization
Prior leadership experience required; people / team management, setting expectations and goals and driving high levels of performance
Prior experience with payroll or leading a payroll teams within South Asia and / or ASEAN regions.
Experience with global payroll and HR case management tools.
Demonstrated ability to redesign processes for continuous improvement and business results
Ability to develop strong relationships and influence senior HR and business partners
Comfortable and skilled in leading and managing change and managing cross-functional stakeholders
Able to manage multiple high-priority demands both individually and via the team
Experience working in a multicultural environment
